About the Role
The Company is seeking a General Counsel, Senior Vice President to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key player in providing strategic legal guidance to the C-Suite and board, as well as in building and enhancing the legal function to support the organization’s growth. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, establishing and improving legal operations and strategies, and overseeing legal aspects of the company’s expansion, including private equity transactions.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a practicing attorney, with a strong background in telecommunications law, contract negotiation, employment law, and private equity. A license to practice law in Arizona is preferred, and the role requires a proven track record in managing legal aspects of organizational transitions and implementing effective change management strategies. Key responsibilities for the General Counsel include providing legal guidance on corporate governance, advising on employment law matters, and managing any litigation or disputes.
The role demands an individual with a strong executive presence, the ability to explain complex legal issues simply, and a collaborative approach to achieving consensus among stakeholders.
