The company is a worldwide market leader in their field.
The job holder is responsible for the effective and efficient management of Legal matters, provision of legal advisory services and ensuring effective management of legal and contractual risks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review Contracts and provide comments and suggested revisions that protect the Company’s interests.
Develop contracts and other legal documents for Company use.
Review and be informed concerning the laws regarding labour relations, tax & excise regulation, import/export restrictions and tort of other countries where we conduct business.
Review press releases to ensure no proprietary information is divulged or made public.
Participate and assist in Internal Audits when requested.
Respond to areas of litigation in which the Company may become engaged.
Other duties as requested by the Chief Executive Officer.
To be successful for the role you must have/be:
Law Degree.
Active Member and Practiced Law in the courts of UAE.Total 10 years’ experience, some of it should be in-house ideally in a large construction company, with a
proven track record
in contract negotiation and drafting.
Proven track record
of adding value to an organisation through the development of comprehensive contract documents that mitigate risk and penalties.
Strong
leadership
and managerial skills.
Excellent relationship management and
communication skills
necessary for interaction with Governmental Institutions, the Judicial system and negotiating parties.
Demonstrate knowledge of, and experience with, laws dealing with government and/or commercial contract administration, particularly contract negotiation, preparation and administration.
Proven ability to delicately solve sensitive matters.
