We are seeking a General Counsel to assist in our daily operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to review legal and business issues and communicate only the important aspects in a clear and concise manner to our top executive. In addition, you will be asked to learn the internal operations of every department in the company and assist when needed.
Represent company in court or before government agencies
Prepare, draft, and review legal documents on behalf of the company
Advise the companys executive on business and legal transactions
Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
Comply with all legal standards and regulations
Perform administrative and management functions
Education and/or ***
Membership in California State Bar
Juris Doctor from nationally accredited law school
Previous experience in law, preferably with indirect auto retail installment contract
Familiarity with various legal documents
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
