Title: General Counsel

This role is to safeguard SIM Group’s legal rights and intellectual property in all aspects of its business operations and strategy.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Render legal advice to the Group on all aspects of operations such as highlighting unfavourable terms and conditions and pursuing remedies.
Draft, review and/or negotiate all agreements, MOUs and other documents.
Creating contract templates such as tender documents and PD agreements.
Lead/manage dispute resolution.
Manage panel of external lawyers on topics such as litigation general advice.
Provide intellectual property advice and support.
Manage Personal Data protection and compliance for the Group
Oversee the governance & compliance of the Group.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Academic Education/Experience/Training
Bachelor degree of Laws and Post-Graduate Diploma in Singapore Laws
Admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore
Experience
At least 10 years of working experience in a law firm and/or in-house work.
Experience in Corporate Secretariat work
Familiarity with PDPA compliance will be an advantage
Personal Attributes
Good English writing and communication skills.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
High integrity with strong ethics
Excellent command of English, good negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills
Good interpersonal skills
