Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated Web3 Attorney with a deep understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), DAOs, and the legal frameworks that govern them. As part of our legal team, you’ll collaborate across departments to help navigate the fast-changing regulatory landscape surrounding Web3 technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
· Advise on legal matters related to blockchain technologies, including smart contracts, tokenomics, DeFi, DAOs, and Layer 1/2 protocols.
· Interpret and apply applicable regulations (e.g., SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, FATF, GDPR) to ensure global compliance.
· Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including partnership agreements, token sale terms, whitepapers, and vendor contracts.
· Support internal teams in product development, token issuance, governance structuring, and privacy policy compliance.
· Monitor global legal and regulatory developments in the blockchain and crypto space, and provide risk analysis and strategic insights.
· Work with outside counsel on specialized legal issues and potential litigation.
· Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on regulatory obligations and best practices in the Web3 ecosystem.
Required Qualifications:
J.D. or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution; active license to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
3+ years of relevant legal experience, including at least 1–2 years in the blockchain/crypto or fintech space.
Deep understanding of U.S. and international regulatory frameworks related to Web3 technologies.
Experience advising startups or Web3 companies is highly desirable.
Legal drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $84,196.00 – $93,817.00 per year
