Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carry out legal review of fund launch documentation.
- Support and advise the Luxembourg business on all relevant Management Company / AIFM legal and regulatory issues and developments including
- Draft, review and negotiate a range of relevant agreements (e.g. Management Company/AIFM and investment management agreements, prospectus, trust deeds, administration, custody, distribution, dealing and terms of business agreements).
- Advise and assist directors and relevant senior members of staff
- Liaise with external legal advisers as appropriate.
- Assist business development and client services and sales teams as required.
- Ad hoc projects as required
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Lawyer with 4- 6 years’ experience in a legal role in the funds industry.
- Experience with and general knowledge of the laws and regulations impacting financial services providers and investment management businesses, preferably including familiarity with UCITS, AIFMD and a variety of fund product types and asset classes.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) essential. Additional languages advantageous.
