Role Description
This is a full-time role for Graduate Lawyers at STC Lawyers and Associates, located in Burwood, NSW. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as advising clients on migration law matters, preparing and lodging visa applications, and assisting with visa refusals and cancellations. The role also includes representing clients in reviews at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, Courts, or seeking Ministerial Intervention. Graduate Lawyers will be responsible for staying updated on immigration decisions and legislative changes, and providing strategic advice based on these updates.
Qualifications
Legal research, analysis, and drafting skills
Experience in migration law and familiarity with visa applications and reviews
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is required
Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field
Admission to practice as a solicitor in Australia or eligibility to be admitted
