Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $120,000 per year

Responsibilities
Independently manage a diverse caseload across various legal practice areas, including but not limited to family law, business law, estate planning, and civil litigation
Represent clients confidently in court hearings, trials, and settlement conferences
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, declarations, and agreements
Provide clear, compassionate legal advice to clients navigating complex legal issues
Negotiate settlements and work towards favorable client outcomes
Develop legal strategies based on in-depth case analysis and client goals
Maintain detailed case documentation and ensure timely communication with clients
Participate in firm-wide initiatives to leverage technology and improve client service
Qualifications:
Active California State Bar license in good standing
5+ years of legal experience in California courts (experience in multiple practice areas preferred)
Proven trial and litigation experience
Strong knowledge of California law and relevant legal procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality work product
Experience with legal practice management software and digital document management systems
Reliable internet connection and a home office setup conducive to remote work and client consultations
Preferred:
5+ years of experience in general legal practice or specialized practice areas
Background using or willingness to learn AI-assisted legal research and document automation tools
Experience working in a distributed or remote team environment
Familiarity with digital court filing systems and remote court appearances
Enthusiasm for contributing to the firm’s ongoing digital transformation initiatives
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Continuing education in relevant legal specialties is a plus
