Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Family Law Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of family law and be able to assist the partner in preparing cases for trial.
Responsibilities
Litigation in all areas of divorce, support, child custody, and PFAs.
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case progress.
Prepare for court hearings by compiling necessary documents and evidence.
Negotiate settlements under the supervision of attorneys when appropriate.
Stay informed about changes in family law regulations and practices.
Skills
Able to work in fast paced environment.
Meet deadlines early.
Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing case files.
Any language skills welcome.
