A leading global investment bank is seeking a talented and proactive paralegal to join its front-office distressed debt team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior lawyers and directly support the business in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Confidential Information Management: Oversee the receipt and delivery of confidential information to support trading activities.

Contract Drafting & Negotiation: Draft and negotiate confidentiality agreements, ensuring compliance with trading restrictions and credit agreement reviews.

Collaboration with Key Teams: Work alongside traders, sales, sourcing teams, and customers to facilitate the expedited exchange of confidential information, meeting tight trading deadlines.

Transactional Support: Prepare legal documentation for distressed/par trades in the UK region, negotiate with counterparties, and ensure timely trade closures.

Investment & Trading Support: Assist with new investment/trading efforts and manage issues related to existing positions.

Resolution of Non-Performing Loans: Provide legal assistance with the resolution and recovery of defaulted credits and non-performing loans/portfolios.

Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience as a paralegal, particularly with drafting and reviewing NDAs and transactional documentation.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a commercial and deadline-driven environment.

A keen interest in working directly with the business and building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
