Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Secretary to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures, particularly in the area of personal injury.
Responsibilities
Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
Manage case files using legal case management software
Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings by organizing exhibits and evidence.
Maintain an organized filing system for both electronic and paper documents.
Communicate effectively with clients via phone and email, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates while managing attorney calendars.
Conduct interviews with clients to gather necessary information for cases.
Skills
Strong writing skills for drafting clear and concise legal documents.
Knowledge of personal injury litigation.
Familiarity with legal case management systems to streamline workflow.
Excellent phone etiquette to maintain professional communication with clients.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all documentation.
