The Gastonian is a 17-room bed and breakfast located in Savannah, GA that is owned and operated by {verdigreen} hotels. We are looking for someone to join our dynamic team as a Front Desk Agent, where your energy and exceptional guest service skills will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this vital role, you will be the welcoming face of our inn, ensuring smooth check-ins, providing personalized guest assistance, and maintaining a warm, professional atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and seamless check-in process
- Handle guest inquiries and requests efficiently to enhance guest relations and satisfaction
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette and guest service practices at all times to foster a welcoming environment
- Create hotel reservations over the phone or in person
- Keep public areas and amenities stocked and tidy
- Assist the culinary team with all food and beverage presentations
- Provide personalized dining and activity recommendations to guest
- Inspect rooms prior to arrival and assist housekeeping as needed
Experience
- Strong customer service skills with a proactive approach to resolving guest issues and enhancing their stay
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining high energy levels and professionalism
- Proficient in basic computer systems and email
Requirements
- Ability to walk up and down stairs
- Ability to carry up to 30 pounds
- Computer skills
