Direct Counsel is seeking a Senior-Level Financial Services Litigation Associate to join a prominent firm’s Financial Services Practice Group in New York City. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney to take on significant responsibilities in high-stakes commercial and securities litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage litigation matters involving commercial disputes in federal and state courts and arbitral forums.
Draft pleadings, briefs, and motions, handle discovery, and oversee the day-to-day management of cases.
Collaborate with a team on securities litigation, arbitration, and enforcement matters.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of experience in commercial, securities, and/or financial services litigation.
Significant experience in litigation, including drafting pleadings, brief writing, motion practice, discovery, and case management.
Outstanding oral and written advocacy and communication skills.
Membership in the New York State Bar is required.
Experience with government agencies or securities litigation and arbitration is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:
Annualized salary range: $310,000 to $330,000, based on education, training, and experience.
