We are looking for a Legal Counsel Specialist for Iveco Capital Financial Services, a subsidiary of Iveco Group headquartered in France that offers, under the brand name of CNH Industrial Capital and IVECO CAPITAL, a comprehensive range of services.
IC Financial Services is one of the world’s largest captive equipment finance organizations, expert in the Agricultural & Construction Equipment, Buses, Trucks & Commercial Vehicles finance & leasing business.
It supports the CNH Industrial and Iveco Group brands’ customers, dealers and distributors with customized solutions by offering a full range of financing, leases, rental programs and insurance products & services through various wholly owned subsidiaries, joint ventures and vendor programs.

Responsibilities, Accountabilities:
The position is within the Legal Department of Iveco Capital, which supports the global financial services operations of Iveco and CNH Industrial, providing legal advice on a wide variety of legal matters, in connection with complex cross-border transactions as well as day-to-day business.
Reporting to the Head of Legal – Financial Services, the Legal Counsel Specialist will primarily:
Provide legal advice on all aspects of the Financial Services business (mainly in the areas of Banking & Finance, Corporate M&A, Insurance, Regulatory Law, and Restructuring)
Draft letters, agreements and other legal documents
Manage external counsels, litigation and insolvency matters
Monitor the evolution of the legal and regulatory framework
Create, maintain, and manage organized files regarding ongoing matters
Organize and conduct trainings to internal clients
Support Financial Services or Legal Department’s projects
Desired Skills & Experience
7-10 PQE experience in a prominent law firm and/or as in-house lawyer in a financial institution
Fluent in written and spoken English (fluency in other European languages will be viewed favorably)
Degree in Law
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Well organized and able to manage several projects simultaneously
High degree of flexibility and ability to work under pressure, with tight deadlines
Established reputation for integrity, reliability, fairness and discretion
Strong leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills
A team player, results-oriented, dynamic and with an eye for details
Autonomous, able to work hands-on and willing to go into the field
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
