Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in various legal tasks, including conducting legal research, preparing documents, and managing case files. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Paralegal Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring that our legal operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
Assist in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
Manage case files and maintain organized records.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to ensure up-to-date information.
Provide executive administrative support, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients, witnesses, and court personnel.
Collaborate with attorneys on various projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.
Experience
Previous experience as a paralegal or in a legal support role is preferred.
Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective interaction within the legal system.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment is crucial.
