Family Solicitor (4+ PQE)/Legal Executive
Brighton & Hove, East Sussex (Hybrid Working)
Full-Time or Part-Time | Flexible Hours
A leading, well-established Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked family law practice is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx) with 4+ years’ PQE to join its growing Brighton-based team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern, progressive firm known for its high-quality privately funded work and strong reputation for client-focused, resolution-led family law

The Role
You will manage your own caseload of high-quality private family law matters
, including:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy/ancillary relief
- Private children matters
- Civil partnerships and cohabitation disputes
You will have the autonomy to run your files while being supported by an experienced and collaborative team.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor or FCILEx with 4+ years’ PQE in family law
- Strong experience handling privately funded caseloads
- Committed to constructive, resolution-focused approaches (mediation experience advantageous)
- Resolution membership (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent client care and communication skills
