Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Family Lawyer based in Parramatta, NSW, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Family Lawyer will handle day-to-day tasks such as providing legal advice and representation in family law matters, attending court hearings, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and negotiating settlements. The role also involves maintaining client relationships and managing multiple cases efficiently.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Family Law and experience in legal representation and negotiations
Excellent legal research, drafting, and document review skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple cases and work independently
Proficiency in using legal research tools and legal practice management software
Experience in mediation and alternative dispute resolution
Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent, with admission to practice law in NSW
Prior experience in a law firm or legal environment is advantageous
