Job Summary
Kutty Guajardo Khoury Family Law is seeking a dedicated Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team at our Houston office. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal drafting skills. This role involves assisting attorneys in the preparation of legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing administrative support. The Family Law Paralegal will play a crucial role in supporting clients through various family law matters, including divorce, custody disputes, modifications and enforcements. Salary is dependent on experience. We offer a full benefits package.
Duties
Draft and prepare legal documents such as petitions, motions, final orders, inventories on excel, and affidavits related to family law cases. Strong drafting skills required.
Organize and maintain case files; draft/propound/respond to discovery.
Assist attorneys in trial preparation by compiling evidence, preparing exhibits, and accompanying attorney(s) in hearings.
Provide administrative support by managing calendars on MyCase or similar case management systems.
Communicate effectively with clients.
Ensure compliance with court rules and procedures throughout the litigation process.
Experience
Previous experience as a Paralegal is preferred. College degree a plus.
Proficiency in legal drafting and familiarity with family law practices is essential.
Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
