Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our Alpharetta-based practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong drafting, research, and case management skills, along with a deep understanding of Georgia family law. This role requires a proactive professional who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with senior attorneys to deliver exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive legal support to Family Law Attorneys.
Draft, prepare, and file pleadings, settlement agreements, motions, and discovery documents.
Conduct detailed legal research and analysis for family law cases.
Organize case files, manage electronic and physical documents, and ensure timely updates.
Prepare case materials for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials, including evidence organization, drafting motions and briefs, and preparing witness lists.
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
Assist attorneys with trial preparation and general case strategy development.
Meet a monthly billing requirement of 130 hours.
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Family Law Paralegal in Georgia.
Proficient in drafting family law documents and managing the discovery process.
Strong research and legal writing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform effectively under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
