Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a critical role supporting attorneys and clients through the full lifecycle of a family law case. Your responsibilities will include:
Drafting and preparing legal documents including disclosures, pleadings, and discovery.
Filing documents with the courts and managing e-filing procedures.
Managing deadlines, hearings, mediation dates, and case calendars.
Organizing client documents, financials, and case files for efficient access.
Meeting with clients to gather information, review materials, and provide case updates.
Coordinating with opposing counsel and court staff as needed.
Supporting attorneys in hearing and trial prep, including assembling exhibits.
Delegating and following up on tasks with legal assistants when applicable.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience, preferably in family law.
Knowledge of Colorado court procedures strongly preferred.
Paralegal certification or equivalent education preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.
Comfortable with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software.
Strong emotional intelligence — able to work with clients in crisis with empathy and professionalism.
Willingness to occasionally work after hours to meet deadlines.
Believe that compassion and competence go hand in hand.

Hold yourself to high standards while staying real and approachable.

Compensation
$24 – $30 per hour based on experience.
