Position Overview

This is an opportunity to take ownership of essential case-management responsibilities while continuing to grow as a legal professional. You’ll work closely with experienced attorneys, communicate directly with clients, and help prepare family law matters for hearings, mediations, and trials.

We’re seeking a paralegal with prior legal assistant and paralegal experience, preferably in family law. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, confident, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment. You’ll have the independence to manage your responsibilities while being supported by a collaborative team invested in your long-term success.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Manage case files, court deadlines, attorney calendars, and other important case-related details.
  • Prepare and file court documents electronically and in person.
  • Draft, format, proofread, and organize petitions, motions, discovery materials, briefs, hearing memoranda, trial notebooks, and other legal documents.
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties.
  • Support attorneys with day-to-day case management and preparation.
  • Assist with discovery, document collection, and the organization of exhibits and evidence.
  • Prepare case materials for hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
  • Maintain accurate and organized client files and case information.
  • Help ensure that matters move forward efficiently and that clients remain informed throughout the legal process.

Pay: Competitive, based on experience
