Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Family Law / Litigation Attorney to join our team remotely. This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle a diverse caseload, including family law matters, general and commercial litigation, and specialized legal areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong research, negotiation, and litigation skills, with a passion for advocating clients’ rights and navigating complex legal issues.
Responsibilities
- Manage and litigate family law cases such as divorce, child custody, visitation, and support matters with professionalism and precision
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, and settlement agreements
- Prepare for court proceedings by organizing case files, evidence, and procedural documentation
- Negotiate settlements effectively while maintaining client interests in various legal disputes
- Maintain accurate case management records using legal case management software
- Stay updated on evolving laws related to family law, immigration law, securities law, tribal regulations, and other relevant areas
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in State Bar of Michigan
- Proven experience in family law and general litigation with a strong understanding of procedural law
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful settlement resolutions
- Experience with legal motion preparation and procedural law knowledge
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple cases efficiently

Pay: $88,000.00 – $138,000.00 per year
