POSITION: Associate Attorney with 5+ years of Trial Experience —Litigation

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Associate Attorney with 7+ years of Trial experience to join our esteemed expanding litigation department. This role is critical to our operations and requires a solid foundation in general legal principles couples with experience in litigation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle litigation matters as part of a team from inception through resolution;
Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, motions and other court documents;
Manage a caseload of litigation matters, ensuring all deadlines are met;
Represent clients in court, including conducting trials, hearings and depositions;
Maintain regular and detailed communication with clients, providing updates and legal advice;
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure the highest quality of legal services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the New York State Bar.
A minimum of five years of litigation experience.
Strong analytical, legal research and writing skills.
Proven track record in handling litigation cases from inception through trial.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
