We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Family Law Attorney to join our legal team in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters such as divorce proceedings, child custody disputes, spousal support, legitimation, contempt and modification cases
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and stay current on relevant laws and regulations
- Draft clear, precise legal documents including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court filings
- Negotiate favorable settlements on behalf of clients through effective negotiation strategies and advocacy
- Represent clients confidently in court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences with professionalism and preparation
- Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients regarding their rights, options, and potential outcomes in family law cases
- Collaborate with colleagues specializing in estate planning, immigration law, environmental law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, workers’ compensation law, personal injury law, patent law, and other practice areas as needed for holistic client service
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar in Georgia
- Proven experience practicing family law with a strong understanding of related legal fields such as estate planning or immigration law is a plus
- Exceptional strategy development and case management skills. Strong client communication and relationship building.
- Excellent legal drafting abilities with attention to detail and clarity in all written communications
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients’ interests
- Demonstrated litigation experience including court appearances and mediations
- Familiarity with legal administrative processes and case management software within a busy law office environment
- Outstanding writing skills combined with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and empathetically

Pay: $79,968.08 – $200,000.00 per year
