Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, including but not limited to estate planning, probate, trust litigation, and bankruptcy. This role requires excellent research and writing skills, as well as the ability to effectively negotiate on behalf of clients. As an Associate Attorney, you will work closely with senior attorneys and clients to provide comprehensive legal support and guidance.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and estate planning documents.
Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients while ensuring their best interests are represented.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to various practice areas.
Assist in the preparation for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
Collaborate with clients to understand their legal needs and provide tailored solutions.
Maintain organized case files and documentation for efficient case management.
Skills
Proficient in legal writing with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
Strong research skills to analyze statutes, regulations, and case law effectively.
Knowledge of estate planning procedures and documentation.
Knowledge of probate rules and procedures and the San Bernardino and Riverside County local rules of court.
Familiarity with litigation and civil discovery rules.
2+ Year experience as a probate or trust litigation attorney or estate planner with civil litigation experience.
Experience or knowledge in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy processes and requirements is a plus.
Competence in drafting California compliance estate planning documents is desirable.
Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.

Pay: $93,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
