Duties:
Manage and represent clients in a wide variety of family law cases, including divorce, custody, support, and property division.
Collaborate with clients and other legal professionals to develop case strategies and provide legal guidance.
Draft legal documents, such as petitions, motions, and settlements, while ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
Provide advice and legal representation in both contested and uncontested family law matters.
Maintain organized case files and documents, keeping clients and the firm informed of all developments.
Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all communications.
Requirements:
Active and good-standing license to practice law in California.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law or related legal practice.
Ability to handle a high caseload while maintaining organization and meeting deadlines.
Experience in limited-scope representation is advantageous.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
Commitment to delivering ethical, compassionate legal care to clients.
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in the state of California.
Skills:
