Job description
Berton N. Ring, P.C. is a boutique litigation firm, located in down town Chicago, specializing in consumer law, housing, real estate, commercial and probate matters. We are seeking a motivated, detail oriented and organized individual for our fast-paced practice to provide support to our attorneys. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience with litigation process.
Duties and responsibilities:
Assist with answering phones and ensure the office is well maintained
Open, organize files
Perform docketing
Assist with trial preparation
Assist with client , attorney and court communication
Assist with Subpoenas, FOIA requests
Close files adhering to set procedures
Perform other administrative duties as assigned, including filing,
electronic filing in state and federal court
Qualified candidates will have excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent time management skills, have prior law firm work experience, ideally in a litigation firm. Must be proficient in MS office , focused and efficient, able to collaborate with others.
Job Types: Part-time or Full Time
Salary: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour
Schedule: On site only
6-8 hour shift
