Now Hiring: Experienced Workers’ Compensation Paralegal
Our established law firm is seeking a highly experienced Workers’ Compensation Paralegal to join our team. We are looking for someone who thoroughly understands the workers’ compensation process from beginning to end and can confidently manage cases with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Manage workers’ compensation cases from intake through settlement or trial.
- Prepare and file all necessary pleadings, petitions, motions, and legal documents.
- Maintain communication with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, employers, and opposing counsel.
- Obtain and organize medical records, wage records, and other supporting documentation.
- Monitor deadlines, hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
- Assist attorneys in case preparation and hearing/trial support.
- Maintain accurate case files and update case management software.
- Utilize MyCase case management software to manage case files, calendar deadlines, upload documents, track tasks, and maintain accurate client communications.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable workers’ compensation rules, procedures, and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of workers’ compensation experience in a law firm.
- Extensive knowledge of workers’ compensation laws, procedures, and insurance claims handling.
- Proficiency with MyCase case management software is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
- Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor with exceptional attention to detail.

Salary: Competitive and based on experience.
