Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Immigration Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a broad range of immigration matters and a strong commitment to immigrant communities. You will represent clients in various immigration processes, including removal defense, family-based petitions, humanitarian relief, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal counsel and representation in removal/deportation proceedings before EOIR
Prepare and file immigration applications and petitions, including asylum, adjustment of status, naturalization, U visas, waivers, DACA, TPS, family-based petitions and employment-based petitions
Represent clients in USCIS interviews and immigration court hearings
Conduct client consultations and develop case strategies
Work collaboratively with legal assistants, paralegals, and other attorneys
Stay informed about changes in immigration laws and policies
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD).
Licensed and in good standing with Massachusetts bar
Fluency in Spanish / Portuguese or Hindi, strongly preferred but not necessary
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to client service
Ability to manage a full caseload and work independently in a fast-paced environment
