Role Description

There are two positions open for this part-time, on-site role as an Administrative/Legal Assistant at J. Blumen & Associates, one in each of the Newport, RI and Sharon, MA offices. This role will support the managing partner and two busy attorneys with multi-state residential and commercial real estate practices.

Daily duties may include: answering phone and greeting clients, collecting and processing incoming and outgoing mail and express deliveries, on- and off-site meeting prep, data entry, scanning documents, assess and restock office supplies, support firm marketing activities. This position will play a crucial role in supporting our clients throughout their real estate transaction process.

Requirements

Professional and polished, positive attitude and tech savvy
Mac proficiency a plus
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organization and time management skills
Microsoft Outlook, Word
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation

Skills

Works well independently and able to follow directions
Able to receive information from a variety of sources including email, phone and in person
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written, email and oral communication skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
