The Role
This role is well suited to an experienced corporate lawyer who has developed a solid foundation in company law and is ready to take on greater responsibility within a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
The team advises domestic and international clients on a wide range of company law and corporate governance matters, including both routine and more complex engagements.
Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Corporate Lawyer, you will be responsible for:
- Company formations, restructurings, and reorganisations
- Local and cross‑border mergers and amalgamations
- Continuation and re‑domiciliation of companies into and out of Malta
- Drafting, reviewing, and implementing corporate and statutory documentation
- Ongoing company secretarial support and regulatory compliance
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Fully qualified lawyer
- Comfortable managing day‑to‑day corporate matters with an appropriate level of supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Detail‑oriented, organised, and commercially aware
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- 7-10 years of post-qualification experience
- While the role is primarily focused on corporate law, experience in adjacent legal disciplines (such as IP, commercial contracts, or regulatory work), or a genuine interest in developing cross‑practice expertise, will be considered an asset.
