Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in law, particularly in personal injury, and will provide essential support to our attorneys in various legal matters. This role requires excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in document management systems. The Paralegal Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring that our law office operates efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
Manage case files and maintain accurate records within document management systems.
Draft correspondence and communicate with clients regarding case updates and documentation requirements.
Organize and maintain physical and electronic files for easy access and retrieval.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
Excellent and timely communication between Insurance Adjusters, Medical Providers and Clients.
Requirements
A degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Proficiency in legal research methodologies and familiarity with tools such as Lexis-Nexis.
Previous experience working in a law office or legal environment is advantageous.
Excellent clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining organization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt within a fast-paced environment.
