Essential Duties and *
Manage a caseload of bankruptcy matters representing debtors and creditors.
Prepare and file bankruptcy petitions, pleadings, and other documents.
Advise clients on bankruptcy laws, processes, and documentation.
Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and ethical duties.
Collaborate with staff and other departments to ensure client needs are met.
Develop legal strategies for complex bankruptcy cases.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of reforms in bankruptcy laws.
Document all actions and communications in case management systems.
Provide exceptional service and counsel to maintain client satisfaction.
Minimum Position *
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Bar admission in Maryland.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in bankruptcy law.
Strong academic credentials.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred *
Litigation experience in bankruptcy cases.
Experience with Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings.
Background in corporate or commercial law.
Proficiency in legal research software and case management tools.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Membership in additional Bar jurisdictions beyond Maryland.
