The City of Worthington, Ohio is seeking an experienced professional to be the next Clerk of the Mayor’s Court. This position oversees the clerical and administrative functions of Mayor’s Court and supervises daily activities to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the court. The work requires constant exercise of judgment in applying legal and administrative procedures to various matters.
Candidates must be detail oriented, deal courteously and authoritatively with the public, and be able to keep sensitive information confidential. All candidates must be able to work normal business hours plus one evening per week. Requirements included graduation from a standard high school course of study (or GED). College level course work, and/or prior court clerk experience preferred, or a combination of experience and training which demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position. Certification as a Notary Public within three months of employment is required.
This is a full-time unclassified, exempt position with a salary range of $60,000 – $78,000, depending upon qualifications.
