Position: Executive Director – State Commission of Investigation
The New Jersey State Commission of Investigation (SCI) is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to serve as its next Executive Director. Under the guidance of SCI’s four Commissioners, the highly qualified candidate will effectively lead, manage and direct the day-to-day operations of the SCI. This full-time position is appointed by the Commissioners and serves at will as the chief executive officer with overall responsibility for Commission administration and investigations undertaken by the Commission.
Qualified candidates should possess extensive experience in conducting investigations into public corruption, white-collar and internet-related crime, organized crime and gang activities, and other violations of the public trust creating waste, fraud and abuse. Interested individuals must also possess requisite experience in managing legal and investigative staff.
Applicants must possess a J.D. degree and be licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey.

Applicants accepting employment with the SCI are required to adhere to specific employment obligations and restrictions and are subject to a confidential background and security clearance investigation conducted by the SCI as a prerequisite during the selection process.
