JOB PURPOSE
Responsible and accountable for supporting MMHE and the entire MHB Group (including affiliate and subsidiary companies) in the strategic development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the MHB Compliance and Integrity programme. This includes promoting a strong culture of compliance and integrity, as well as fostering awareness of expected standards of behaviour across the MHB Group, in alignment with the CoBE and ABC principles.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Have oversight of varied compliance and integrity obligations and requirements of the business in all locations and ensure appropriate structures are in place to support compliance.
Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the company’s compliance policies and procedures.
Research and analyses CoBE-related best practices, emerging trends, changes in laws and regulations and issues to identify.
Responsible in developing appropriate intervention programs to minimize risk of CoBE non-compliance to safeguard MHB’s reputation and interests.
Lead and manage the ethical risk assessment and corporate compliance review to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of systems and processes in relation to CoBE and its supporting policies, manuals and/or guidelines.
Lead, manage and monitor the implementation of policies, procedures, and processes in relation to:
i) Critical Legal Areas (CLAs)
ii) Conflict of Interest
iii) Personal Data Protection
iv) Economic Sanctions programmes
v) Anti-competition practice
vi) Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
JOB REQUIREMENT
Degree in Business Administration, Law or relevant qualification.
At least 1 – 3 years’ working experience in compliance and/or internal audit preferably related to Code of Conduct and Business Ethics.
COBE related rules and regulations (i.e. Anti-Bribery and Corruption, PDPA, Anti- Competition etc)
Compliance review and/or internal audit experience.
