A prestigious law firm is seeking an Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits Associate to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in executive compensation matters, particularly in the context of mergers & acquisitions, tax, and securities law. Duties:
Advise clients on executive compensation and employee benefits matters
Focus on mergers & acquisitions, tax, and securities law issues related to executive compensation
Provide support in structuring complex compensation arrangements
Work closely with clients on designing and implementing compensation programs
Assist in legal due diligence and negotiation of compensation arrangements for M&A transactions
Draft and review legal documents related to executive compensation and benefits
Maintain client relationships and provide ongoing legal counsel on employee benefits matters
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in executive compensation, mergers & acquisitions, and related tax and securities law issues
Significant deal experience, particularly in M&A transactions
Superior academic credentials
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Must be admitted to the bar in CA, NY, or WA
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Bar admission in California, New York, or Washington (WA)
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of executive compensation matters
Experience in M&A transactions and related legal issues
Strong legal research, writing, and drafting skills
Ability to manage complex projects and provide strategic advice
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
