Law firm in Midtown is seeking an Executive Assistant on a contract basis, with the potential to go permanent. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting executives within the legal field, financial services or other professional services.
Hybrid schedule: 3-4 days on-site per week
Hours: 9am – 6pm
Pay rate: $40/hr
Responsibilities:
Support attorneys with calendar management and serve as a main point of contact
Manage calls, email correspondence and handling inquiries on behalf of executives
Review invoices and support client billing
Assist with the coordination of Business Development meetings/events and create materials for distribution
Conduct research and draft, edit, and finalize e-mail correspondence and other documents
Review incoming communication, maintain accurate paper and electronic filing
Process expenses and coordinate travel arrangements
Ensure accurate recording of attorney time
Coordinate with other teams and work on special projects, as needed
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of administrative experience, ideally within a law firm or other professional services
Previous experience with Microsoft Office
Quick learner of new systems and databases
Critical thinker with excellent judgment and ability to provide solutions independently
Excellent communicator with team and executives
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Flexible attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task/prioritize
