Job Purpose The purpose of this job is to ensure a benign employee relations climate

Job Responsibilities (JR) Actionable

Handling ER process end to end · Propose commensurate action basis circumstances of the case · Maintain timeliness in proposing action · Recording of action taken. · Coordinating with the business to implement action

Labour Law compliances · File all statutory returns (central & state) within timelines · Respond to labour notices before expiry of deadline · Follow up with business/ admin to ensure closure of bank’s response to labour notices · Recording of notices issued/ closure status of labour notices

Dealing of legal cases · Recording of status of legal cases in Court Case Portal · Appoint & supervise lawyers for proper handling of case · Responsible for providing relevant inputs to business/ stake holders in respect of legal cases. · Coordinate between various stake holders to obey all orders of the Courts, supply documents summoned.

Maintaining & publishing ER MIS · Supply data to all stakeholders as & when scheduled/indented, like o Reconciliation with Audit, Vigilance, TPP, QIG o Negative database to Audit o ISG – p/w sharing & unauthorised access o RBS o Credit Risk Strategy Unit – Posidex o HR Ops – Payroll scheduler o C&B – dedupe for reward distribution

To provide adequate support and guidance to

the business/ admin on the ER policies/ process

at Regional Level. · Timely handling of all general queries · Administer Unauthorised absence process

Conducting awareness programs on ER for the employees across the bank · Ensuring ER Session is conducted in New Joiners Onboarding program; and in other staff sessions as & when requested by Line or HR BPs

Facilitating Trade Union-Management relations. · Ensuring redressal of all grievances raised from time to time · Ensuring annual demands are discussed and responded formally

Smooth execution of performance improvement

process · Administer the process · Maintain records · Publish status MIS · Handle policy related queries from Line HR & Line Managers

Smooth management of complaints, POSH · Receive complaints · Assign to Line HR / Presiding Officer as per merit if case · Monitor TAT of completion · Impose sanction as may be necessary

Educational Qualifications Key Skills

· Post Graduate Degree in HR/MBA (with IR

as one of the subjects)

· Degree in Law will be an added advantage

· Analytical · Cognitive · Communication · Comprehension · Negotiation

Experience Required

· 4-8 years of relevant experience

· Exposure to industrial relations work environment is necessary

· Exposure to employee relations for white-collared work force is an advantage
