Key Responsibilities
Ethics and Compliance Programs
Lead ethics and compliance initiatives for assigned corporate or business functions, ensuring risks are effectively managed.
Risk Assessment & Management
Identify, evaluate, and analyze key compliance risks and emerging issues.
Review internal and external audit findings to implement necessary compliance measures.
Monitor risk areas to ensure effective mitigation strategies are in place.
Capability Building
Develop and implement training programs to enhance corporate governance awareness.
Establish training plans and reporting mechanisms to ensure continuous professional development.
Communication
Implement initiatives to promote an ethics and compliance-driven culture.
Business Partner Management
Oversee external business partners and service providers to ensure high-quality ethics and compliance services align with business needs.
Continuous Improvement
Stay updated on evolving legal and regulatory landscapes to refine governance processes and align with best practices.
Skills and Attributes
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
Identify opportunities to enhance functional policies and processes.
Support the development of governance frameworks to meet business requirements.
Ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures.
Reporting
Prepare timely and accurate reports in alignment with our client’s functional policies and standards.
Other Assignments
Perform additional duties as directed to support business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or graduate-level degree in law or a relevant discipline from an internationally recognized institution.
Relevant certifications such as Certification of Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or equivalent.
Minimum of 9 years of experience in senior-level ethics, compliance, or regulatory-enforcement roles, preferably in a top-tier international organization or various industries in the US.
Strong knowledge of ethics and compliance frameworks, risk mitigation strategies, and regulatory requirements
