About the Role

Texgroup is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Executive to support the implementation and monitoring of social, ethical, and environmental compliance across our partner factories.

The role will involve working closely with the Compliance Manager to ensure all factories meet buyer requirements and remain audit-ready at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Factory Monitoring & Compliance Support

  • Conduct regular factory visits and assist in monitoring compliance conditions
  • Support pre-audit inspections and follow-up on corrective actions (CAP)
  • Identify compliance gaps and report findings to the Compliance Manager

Health & Safety

  • Assist in checking workplace safety conditions including fire safety, PPE usage, machine safety, and emergency exits
  • Monitor cleanliness, ventilation, and overall working conditions
  • Support implementation of safety improvements

Documentation & Record Keeping

  • Maintain and update compliance documentation (worker files, attendance, payroll records, safety documents)
  • Ensure all records are accurate, complete, and audit-ready
  • Support uploading required data to buyer platforms

Audit Support

  • Assist during buyer and third-party audits (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, etc.)
  • Prepare documents and coordinate with factory management
  • Track audit findings and ensure timely follow-up

Training & Awareness

  • Support compliance training sessions for workers and staff
  • Assist in organizing safety drills and awareness programs
  • Help monitor worker understanding through interviews and feedback

Ethical Compliance

  • Assist in monitoring working hours, wages, overtime, and worker welfare
  • Support implementation of grievance mechanisms
  • Ensure no child labour, forced labour, or discrimination practices

Reporting

  • Prepare weekly and monthly compliance reports
  • Maintain digital records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in compliance within garment factory or buying house
  • Basic knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Law
  • Familiarity with compliance standards (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, etc.)
  • Good documentation and reporting skills
  • Willingness to travel to factories regularly
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with international buyers
  • Basic understanding of health & safety requirements
  • Good communication skills
