We are seeking a professional, organized, and client-focused Estate Planning Paralegal to join our team full-time. This is an in-person position that requires regular work in our Tacoma and Gig Harbor offices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and thrives in a collaborative, client-centered environment.
This is not an entry-level position, and it’s not a “learn on the job” role. We’re looking for a seasoned estate planning paralegal who already knows the difference between a pour-over will and a certificate of trust, who has sat across from grieving families before, and who can walk in the door and start contributing on day one. - Have 5+ years of hands-on experience as an estate planning or trust & estates paralegal — this is a firm requirement, please do not apply if you do not have this experience
- Can draft, proof, and assemble estate planning documents without needing the basics explained
- Have used Clio or a comparable practice management platform, and pick up new systems quickly (preferred)
- Treat deadlines, client confidentiality, and attention to detail like the serious business they are
- Can bring calm, capable energy to a fast-paced practice — and still laugh with the team at the end of a long day
- Are able to adapt throughout the work day and over time – we are ever growing and changing to meet the demands of our clients and our team

Position Overview
The Estate Planning Paralegal plays a key role in supporting our attorneys and ensuring a seamless client experience from initial contact through document signing. This position involves significant client communication, administrative coordination, and management of key workflows within the practice. We need someone who has done this work before.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients via phone and email
- Drafting and preparation of deeds
- Working with attorneys and clients on funding living trusts
- Conduct estate planning intake calls and gather relevant client information
- Schedule client consultations, follow-up meetings, and estate planning document signings
- Coordinate and conduct signing appointments and ensure documents are properly prepared and executed
- Maintain organized and accurate client files
- Support attorneys with administrative and case management tasks as needed
- Assist in maintaining efficient office systems and workflows
