We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Contracts Administrator to support our manufacturing and assembly operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing contract creation, execution, and administration throughout the contract lifecycle. This role ensures compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations while facilitating clear communication between internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Administer, extends, negotiates, and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts.
Conduct contract reviews, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Ensure all contracts comply with internal policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with terms and identify potential risks or deviations.
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding contract terms and obligations.
Enter purchase orders and amendments in the Crestview Aerospace ERP system.
Interface with customer portals to process requests for quotes, proposals, contract documentation, and supplier scorecards.
Support the development of proposals and contractual documentation.
Professional Requirements, QualificationsDesired Competencies:
Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Defense background is highly desired.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data.
A thorough understanding of the FAR, DFAR, and ITAR regulations is required.
Must be articulate and capable of handling serious and complex negotiation discussions under high pressure and in dealing with all levels of internal and external organizations.
Government acquisition issues, development of negotiation strategy, and execution of negotiation plans relating to subcontracting is desired.
Experience in leading negotiations of terms/conditions, cost/price, and general administration.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and contract management software.
Experience with ERP systems.
Epicor experience is desired but not required.
Must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and flexible hours as required.
Some travel may be required.
Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instructions.
Remote work is not available.
Physical Requirements: Primarily a manufacturing/assembly environment. Must be able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, and electrical current. Must be able to bend and reach. Must have close visual acuity such as viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines, and/or assembly or fabrication parts at close distance to the eyes. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to maneuver up to 20 pounds. Will be performing substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
