Join The Wind Law Group, PLLC, a Florida boutique law firm located in the Tri-County area (Miami-Fort. Lauderdale-West Palm), as a remote-based Associate Litigation /Trial Attorney. We are seeking a dedicated professional with 1-3 years of experience in first party property damage insurance matters. Salary is $100,000 with an end of year performance-based bonus structure.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
– Represent clients in State Circuit /County Court and Federal court
– Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
– Conduct legal research and analysis to support legal proceedings
– Advise clients on legal issues and provide guidance on potential outcomes
– Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
– Attend depositions, hearings, and trials
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files
Experience:
– Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
– Admission to the Florida bar association
– Minimum of 1-3 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on first party property damage insurance civil litigation
– Strong knowledge of civil procedure and evidence rules
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
