Job Details
We are seeking a bright, diligent, experienced Probate and Estate Planning Attorney to join our boutique law firm. Teamwork, organization, and customer service are crucial to this role.
Responsibilities
Provide legal support to attorneys
Prepare Probate Pleadings
Track inventory and distribution of assets
Knowledge of IRS Forms
Recording documents and deeds with courts, E-Filing
Proofread all documents and correspondence for accuracy
Enter time and print reports as requested
Heavy Dictation
Maintaining clients files including preparing documents for signings
Daily communication with clients in a professional manner
Filing wills in appropriate counties, ensuring proper docketing and timely filing of all tax returns and court papers
Communicating with governmental agencies, accountants/advisors, financial institutions and other relevant third parties regarding the administration of trusts, estates, and guardian ships
Qualifications
Efficient, fast learner, detail-oriented
Personable, professional, and dependable with good phone skills
Experience with Hot Docs program is a plus but not required
Hands-on experience in a legal office
