We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Processor to join our growing team. This position is part-time, 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role. We will also consider full-time hours from the start for the right candidate. In this role, you will manage real estate title files from order through closing, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company and state requirements. Responsibilities
- Open and process title orders, ensuring accurate entry of all property and transaction information.
- Review title searches and examine title commitments for accuracy and completeness.
- Clear title requirements and resolve issues prior to closing, such as liens, judgments, and encumbrances.
- Communicate with lenders, real estate agents, attorneys, and clients by email and phone to gather necessary documentation.
- Prepare closing documents, coordinate with closers and escrow officers, and facilitate execution of documents to meet closing deadlines.
- Order and review payoffs, HOA estoppels, surveys, and municipal lien searches.
- Maintain organized, up-to-date files in the title production software.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and title insurance underwriting guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to client and agent inquiries.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a title processor, closer, legal assistant, paralegal, or in a similar real estate, legal, or escrow support role is preferred, but not required. Candidates with strong organizational skills, a customer service mindset, and a driven, professional attitude are encouraged to apply and will be considered even without direct title experience.
- Familiarity with Florida title insurance practices and closing procedures and working knowledge of title production software such as Qualia are a plus.
- FL Notary Public commission, or eligibility to become a Notary Public.
- FL licensed title agent, or eligibility to obtain license, preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or office experience preferred.
