About the Role:
Equity & Justice Lawyer
12-Month Contract, With Potential for Renewal Remote & Hybrid Work Options (Based in Ontario, our office is in Hamilton)
What You Will Do:
Provide legal
advocacy
and representation in employment law and human rights cases
Work directly with clients experiencing workplace discrimination, harassment, and retaliation
Draft demand letters, legal arguments, and applications
Develop creative legal strategies that push back against systemic injustice
Work autonomously while collaborating deeply with a small,
mission-driven
team Engage in movement lawyering, recognizing the role of legal work in broader community
advocacy
