MT Law LLC, a rapidly expanding law firm headquartered in Massachusetts, with offices in Lexington, Boston, New York City, San Francisco and Los Angeles (Pasadena), is seeking a full-time immigration attorney for its Lexington office. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Primary duties include:
– Independently preparing diverse immigration applications, including employment and family-based immigration petitions;
– Facilitating the consolidation of documents and information from clients during the preparation process;
– Corresponding with potential clients during the intake process and maintaining regular communication with existing clients with regard to active cases;
– Corresponding with USCIS and other government agencies; and
– Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
– Active U.S. bar license;
– J.D. Degree from accredited law school or foreign equivalent;
– 2–3 years of immigration law experience is preferred but not required, including experience in employment-based non-immigrant (such as H-1, L-1 and O-1) and immigrant (such as EB-1, EB-2, NIW, EB-3 and PERM) matters, as well as in family-based cases (such as I-130, I-485 and I-751);
– Detail-oriented, computer-savvy;
– Superior writing and communication skills; and
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
