Job Overview
We are seeking an attorney admitted in Hawaii to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess drive, integrity, and an eagerness to gain experience in various areas of law, including but not limited to workers’ compensation law, personal injury law, insurance bad faith law, family law, criminal law, trusts and estates, sports agency and more. Opportunities to advance with our firm and preference in hiring if you have an interest in jury trials.
Responsibilities (on the job training provided for all if needed)
Represent clients in legal proceedings, including court appearances and negotiations.
Speak with clients to provide updates and obtain case information.
Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to support case preparation.
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions and discovery.
Assist in trial preparation.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
Maintain accurate records of all case-related activities and communications in client management software- Clio.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff within the firm to ensure comprehensive client support.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Hawaii.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
