They are looking for you, an experienced
Employment Law Paralegal
, to join their Columbia, SC office. This is a direct-hire opportunity for a highly organized and motivated professional.
What you get to do:
Manage federal and state litigation of employment law claims.
Conduct research on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including PACER navigation.
Draft, review, and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and settlement agreements.
Coordinate client communication and assist with scheduling.
Prepare trial binders, deposition binders, and assist with trial preparation.
Handle administrative proceedings with the EEOC, S.C. Human Affairs Commission, and other employment-related agencies.
What you need to succeed:
5+ years of paralegal experience, specifically in employment law (Federal Employment experience is a must).
Familiarity with PACER, OSHA, harassment claims, and hostile work environments.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced legal environment and manage multiple attorneys.
Strong work ethic to thrive under demanding deadlines.
